Disclosure and Privacy Policy

While this blog Obscurity Of Life is a personal blog about our life of home educating amongst other family related activities and I share our journey throughout this thing called life, we love what we do and we love to share our knowledge, the now closed OFT (office of fair trading) which has passed on their responsibilities to ASA (Advertising Standards Agency) requires that whenever there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations or affiliates they are disclosed in the interest of fairness and transparency.

So here goes....Effective from 25 August 2017
Every post and every page is my own creation, unless I say otherwise clearly. No one pays me to do reviews or changes my opinion on anything based on payment. People do send me free stuff all the time to try, and that is good and fun. It doesn’t change my opinion on whether or not I will recommend it!

The site has many sponsorships and partnerships, including advertising, affiliate marketing links, and the like such as How we use strewing in our home education which contains eBay Partner Network Affiliate Links, and Affiliate Window (AWIN see below)  an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to their products, I get a small percentage of every sale, but it does not cost you any more money.

I would never even do this if I did not believe in the products, I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on Obscurity Of Life are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

I do not share personal information with third-parties nor do I store information I collect about your visit to this blog for use other than to analyse content performance through the use of cookies, which you can turn off at anytime by modifying your Internet browser’s settings.

If you have any questions or need anything clarifying about this blog or you would like to send me something free to review, then please feel free to email me using my contact me form.
