Poorly babies...

I wasn't so sure if it would be a good idea to go swimming today, Oliver has a cough and isn't feeling too well. But they both voted in favour of going, so we did go swimming. We only spent half an hour swimming and then sat in the cafe for a while with some chips and Jaffa cakes and our drinks.

Sadly someone had a stroke whilst in the pool and the emergency alarms rang out and the emergency drill kicked in with alarms and shutters coming down and everyone evacuated out of the pool, I was so glad we had already finished swimming when that happened, the twins would have lost all confidence if we where still in there as neither of them are very confident in the water.

We started our walk into town to the charity shop in the bustling rain but did not get very far when Oliver exclaimed that he couldn't breathe because of the wind, so we turned back to the car and decided that home would be the best place to be right now.

Once we did get home Oliver  wanted to sleep, so we snuggled up and fell asleep all afternoon.

On awaking we have another wounded soldier and Olivia is now coughing too and looking grim, so I think the best plan of action for the rest of the week is a relaxing chill time with a few books, documentaries and drawings.

We had been in the midsts of arranging a meet up with another home ed family but I think maybe that might have to wait until next week instead.....
